The Saarinen Lounge Height Table by Eero Saarinen for Knoll was created with the intention of finding an alternative to the “slum of legs” Saarinen observed beneath chairs and tables. After years of investigating, he came up with a solution: the Pedestal Collection. The Saarinen Lounge Height Table is a lower-height version of one of the most recognizable tables of the modern era and it’s designed with the same beveled tabletop and gracefully shaped cast-aluminum base inspired by a drop of high-viscosity liquid. This sleek design will fit seamlessly in any home or lounge setting as a space to use for free-flowing activities or simply as an informal work area.
