This can reduce change orders and eliminate the need for physical mockups, minimizing the additional materials and resources those mockups require. 

Once the 3D mockups are approved, the interior components are pre-assembled in DIRTT facilities. This allows DIRTT to manufacture components to exact specifications while significantly reducing on-site construction activity, material use, and waste.

Conscious Material Selection

A sustainable environment isn’t just about reducing waste. It’s about protecting the health and well-being of people who occupy the space. DIRTT prioritizes materials that contain little to no volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Because components are fabricated off site, much of the potential off gassing occurs before delivery, helping limit exposure during installation and supporting healthier indoor air quality in the finished space. 

DIRTT’s walls also contain 50%+ recycled content. Acoustic and thermal insulation is made with cotton denim, containing over 80% post-consumer recycled material. By  incorporating recycled materials into its products, DIRTT helps reduce demand for virgin resources and supports a more circular approach to manufacturing.
